Full time contract - 37.5 hours per week
A Full UK Manual driving licence is Essential for this role.
Specific service details
We support four adult men with autism and associated learning disabilities, who may at times display behaviours that challenge.

Individuals are supported on a 1:1 basis, with additional 2:1 support for one individual when accessing the community.

We are looking for compassionate, patient and confident Support Workers who can build positive relationships and provide person-centred support.

Previous experience of Positive Behaviour Management (PBM) or supporting people with behaviours that challenge is desirable.

If you do not have previous PBM experience, full training will be provided, and you will need to be willing to attend and complete PBM training.

You will play an important role in helping the people we support develop their independence, build confidence and enjoy meaningful experiences within their home and community.
The three things we would like an applicant to know about the role before applying...
1 - Experience of working with Autism.
2 - Experience and understanding of PBM
3 - A general understanding that each of those we support is an individual and that their care reflects their individuality.
Shift patterns
Shift are a mixture of earlies and lates
7.00 - 14.30 or 14.30 - 22.00
Wakeful - 22.00 - 7.00.
sleep in shift is in addition to the wakeful each night - 22.00 - 07.00
