Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and vigilant Security Supervisor to oversee the safety and security operations of our premises. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of surveillance and loss prevention techniques. This role offers an opportunity to lead a security team in maintaining a secure environment, ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and assets.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure effective coverage across the site.
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft, vandalism, and unauthorised access.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, including providing first aid when necessary.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and ensure all security procedures are adhered to consistently.
- Organise training sessions for security staff on emergency response, surveillance techniques, and customer service standards.
- Liaise with local law enforcement agencies as required and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in security management or supervisory roles within a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention methods.
- First aid certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in supervising a team of security personnel.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle stressful situations professionally.

Pay: £14.50-£15.00 per hour
