Are you an experienced Building Services Manager with specialist knowledge of retail premises looking for an exciting new opportunity?
We’re on the lookout for a talented professional to join our dynamic Management Team in East Kilbride! Reporting to the Centre Manager the ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and provide support and leadership to the existing team.
This is your chance to work in a role covering compliance of all technical, mechanical, electrical and building services to create a safe environment for customers, staff, contractors and tenants.
What You’ll Be Doing
✔ Supervising contractor works including mid work checks to sign off
✔ Liaise with relevant statutory authorities and Centre Management Team/ Managing agent representative to support reactive situations
✔ Ensure site building fabric is maintained through planned preventative maintenance and support external surveyors and specialists with various projects
✔ Follow Health & Safety standards and documentation
✔ Ensure compliance with legislation and maintain accurate records
✔ Maintain regular dialogue with statutory authorities to achieve a friendly and professional environment
✔ Proactively work hands on with the maintenance team and be solution driven and self sufficient
✔ Nurture existing relationships with key stakeholders and local authorities to enhance existing partnerships
What We’re Looking For
o NEBOSH Diploma or similar
o IPAF preferred
o Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skill
o Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, tenants, and contractors
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good attention to detail
o A full UK driving licence is required
