About the Role
You'll be responsible for producing accurate quotations and supporting documentation for IT infrastructure projects. Working closely with our Sales Team, you'll interpret customer requirements, technical drawings and layouts to develop practical, commercially competitive solutions.
This is a varied, fast-paced role where attention to detail, organisation and customer service are key to success.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare accurate quotations using Talkwire's approved products and pricing structures.
- Review technical drawings, layouts and customer requirements.
- Identify assumptions, missing information and potential project risks.
- Work closely with Account Managers to develop the most suitable solution.
- Produce project documentation and handover packs for delivery teams.
- Maintain accurate records and effective document version control.
- Manage multiple quotations while meeting deadlines.
- Use Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Copilot to improve productivity and collaboration.
What We're Looking For
- Experience preparing quotations or estimates within a technical, IT, engineering or infrastructure environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent numerical accuracy.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Experience
- Structured cabling or network infrastructure.
- IT infrastructure or technology solutions.
- CRM, estimating or project management software.
- Technical sales support or project coordination.
This role would suit someone with experience in estimating, quotations, technical sales support, project coordination, structured cabling, networking, IT infrastructure or technical customer service.
