Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled furniture fitter to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for fitting high-quality, custom cabinetry tailored to client specifications. Your expertise in fitting bespoke furniture will ensure each piece meets our standards of excellence. This position offers an opportunity to work on unique projects that showcase craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Duties
- Fitting bespoke cabinetry and furniture components with precision and an excellent eye for detail.
- Assemble cabinetry parts ensuring proper fit, alignment, and finish
- Interpret detailed technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure project specifications are met
- Assist with site preparation, including heavy lifting and handling materials as required
Experience
- Proven experience in fitting, assembly, and joinery within a bespoke or custom furniture environment - Minimum 5 years
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery - Minimum 5 years
- Strong carpentry skills with an extremely high attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during manufacture and installation processes
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and standards
- Prior experience working with technical drawings and specifications is highly desirable
- Full-time or self employed candidates will be considered
