We are a family run business focusing on transforming residential and commercial properties. Due to our continued growth. We are seeking a reliable and versatile General Labourer/Handyman/woman to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with a variety of maintenance, repair, and general labour tasks across multiple sites. This role offers an opportunity to develop practical skills in construction, building maintenance and site management while contributing to the smooth operation of our projects. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to work in a dynamic environment, supporting both routine and ad hoc duties.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance tasks including repairs, painting, and decorating
- Assist with site clearance, loading, and unloading materials
- Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical tasks as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas
- Support tradespeople with specialised tasks when necessary
- Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with setting up equipment or furniture for events or projects
- Report any hazards or issues to the supervisor promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in general labouring or handyman roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Ability to undertake physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures in a construction or maintenance environment
- Valid UK driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
