Packer / Trainee Machine Operator

Full-Time | Permanent | £26,500 per annum + Bonus & Overtime
Leading Edge Labels is a well-established and growing print and packaging company based in Gravesend, Kent. We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our production team as a Packer / Trainee Machine Operator
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a great team of people with a wealth of experience. No previous experience is required – full training will be provided, with the potential to develop into one of our Machine Operators.

Key Responsibilities
As part of our production team, your duties will include:
· Adhering to the company’s Health and Safety policy.
· Must have a good eye for detail when packing.
· Be able to communicate with supervisors and colleagues.
· Quality checking all goods before packing them.
- Pallet wrapping when available.
- Keeping the packing / Machine aera tidy.
About the Role
This position involves manual work so applicants should be physically fit and comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment.
Full training will be provided, making this role ideal for someone looking to develop new skills and build a career in the print & packaging industry.
Hours of Work
- 40 hours per week basic contract.
- Days / Late shift (If required)
- Depending on workload, shifts may range from 8 to 12 hours
Salary & Benefits
- £26,500 per annum
- Overtime available
- Overtime paid at time and a half after 50 hours per week
- 5% monthly bonus following successful completion of a 3-month probation period
