Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, supporting their daily needs, and promoting their wellbeing. Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and daily activities to promote independence
- Implement and follow personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
- Support clients with light household tasks to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
- Drive clients to appointments or outings when required, ensuring safety at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding care needs and progress
Requirements
- Valid driving licence and willingness to drive as part of the role
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals
- Ability to work flexibly according to rota requirements, including weekends if necessary

Pay: £7,270.12-£34,920.60 per year
