Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food Production Operative to join our manufacturing team in our sandwich filling area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe preparation of food products in accordance with industry standards and company policies. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, contributing to high-quality food manufacturing processes. The ideal applicant will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of food safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate food production machinery in compliance with HACCP and food safety standards
- Assist in the preparation, processing, and packaging of food products according to specified recipes and procedures. For example sandwich fillings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area to meet hygiene regulations
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure product consistency and safety
- Record production data accurately, including quantities produced and any deviations from standard procedures
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to minimise risks within the production environment
Qualifications
- Experience in food production or manufacturing environments is desirable
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and lone working, in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production schedules and priorities
