LPM Group Ltd is a growing facilities management and passive fire protection company delivering high-quality fire door installations, inspections and remedial works across commercial, residential, healthcare and education sectors.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Fire Door Operative to join our Fire Protection Division.
Responsibilities
- Carry out fire door installations, upgrades and remedial works.
- Install and replace fire-rated ironmongery including hinges, closers, locks, seals and drop seals.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with manufacturer instructions, current fire safety legislation and industry standards.
- Complete digital reports and photographic records of completed works.
- Work safely within occupied buildings while maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
- Liaise professionally with clients, site managers and office staff.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience installing and repairing fire doors.
- Strong carpentry and joinery skills.
- Good understanding of fire door compliance and current regulations.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- CSCS Card.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing compliant work.
Desirable Qualifications
- BM TRADA, FIRAS or equivalent fire door installation experience.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery.
- Asbestos Awareness.
- Manual Handling.
- PASMA and IPAF.
- DBS Certificate.
