We are looking for an enthusiastic psycosexual therapist to take a lead role in developing a new psychosexual service provision within an existing Level 3 Sexual Health Clinic. The role will involve assessing and treating patients, providing clinical supervision of junior staff and trainees, and the development of clinical protocols and pathways. The post holder will act as a professional resource for colleagues and contribute to the strategic development of the psychosexual therapy service, ensuring quality, safety, and clinical effectiveness in line with national standards and NHS values.
The post holder will provide specialist psychosexual therapy assessment and treatment to individuals, couples, and groups experiencing complex sexual difficulties. As a senior autonomous practitioner within a multi-disciplinary team (MDT), the post holder will lead the delivery of evidence-based psychological and psychosexual interventions across a range of presentations of the sexual health elements of psychosexual therapy.
