Location: Unilever, 100 Victoria Embankment, London, EC4Y 0DY
Salary: £14.90 per hour
Hours: 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Fixed Term – Part Time, 6 months
About the Role
As a Cleaning Operative at Sodexo, you’ll deliver a high-quality cleaning service at our Unilever site at 100 Victoria Embankment, London.
You’ll help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for everyone on site. With excellent attention to detail and a reliable approach, you’ll play an important part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the workplace.
What You’ll Do

Carry out cleaning duties to a consistently high standard.

Maintain clean and hygienic workspaces and communal areas.

Use cleaning products, chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.

Follow site health and safety procedures, including COSHH requirements.

Identify and report hazards, maintenance issues or other concerns.

Complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently and independently.

Support a positive and professional environment for colleagues, customers and visitors.
What You Bring

Previous cleaning experience in a commercial or office environment is preferred.

Good knowledge of cleaning techniques and the safe handling of cleaning products, or a willingness to learn.

Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

A reliable and punctual approach to work.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good awareness of health and safety requirements.

Basic English communication skills to understand instructions and report issues.

The physical ability to undertake cleaning duties, including standing, bending and lifting moderate weights.
