We are looking for a fun, outgoing, confident Playworker to join our before and afterschool team at Happy Hours situated at Picknalls first school Uttoxeter.
Hours are in between 7am-9am and 3:15pm-6pm (term time)
Holiday club hours are between 7am-6pm
Monday - Friday
A minimum of 16 hours per week.
This role requires a enhanced DBS check.
All additional training in first aid, safeguarding and short courses will be provided.
Playworker role would be to:
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime activities
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for children to play and learn
- Plan and organize age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities
- Assist with breakfast/snack time
- Monitor and address any behaviour issues or conflicts that may arise
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas and equipment
- Communicate with parents or guardians.
- Support other staff within the team.
Level 2/3 in childcare is required for the position.
