Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment, serving drinks and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous restaurant or bar experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Duties
- Serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently to customers at the bar and tables
- Take orders and provide recommendations on drinks and menu items
- Ensure all drinks are prepared in accordance with food safety standards and company policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Monitor guest behaviour to ensure a safe environment for all patrons
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Strong serving skills with a friendly, professional manner
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or specialised shifts as required
