Picker & Packer About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Picker & Packer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for daily dispatch, ensuring every order leaves on time and to a high standard.
You will work with a variety of products, including safety signs and labels, packing orders into envelopes, document wallets, and parcels for shipment across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately using order sheets.
- Pack products securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare envelopes, document wallets, and parcels for dispatch.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure orders are ready for collection.
- Sort completed orders into the correct courier or postal service.
- Check products for quality and accuracy before dispatch.
- Help maintain organised stock locations and replenish picking areas.
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and safe.
- Meet daily dispatch targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Able to follow processes and instructions accurately.
- Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting light parcels throughout the shift.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfilment, or packing role.
- Experience packing small products or printed materials.
- Familiarity with Royal Mail or courier dispatch systems.
- Basic computer skills.
