The Role
The Graphic Designer plays a key role within the Marketing team, delivering high-quality creative solutions that support the promotion of the Utilita Bowl and its diverse portfolio of brands and experiences.
Working flexibly across Hampshire Cricket, international cricket, Utilita Bowl, Boundary Lakes Golf Course, conferences, events, hospitality and leisure, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for producing engaging and effective visual communications that strengthen brand identity, enhance customer engagement and support commercial objectives.
The Graphic Designer will work collaboratively with colleagues across Marketing, Commercial, Hospitality, Cricket Operations and Events to develop and deliver creative assets across digital, print and the stadium, ensuring all work reflects the organisation's brand standards and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design compelling creative for Hampshire Cricket, Hampshire Hawks, Southern Brave and international cricket fixtures.
- Produce marketing assets for the Utilita Bowl, golf course, events, conferences, Christmas parties and leisure offerings.
- Create digital assets for websites, email marketing, paid advertising and social media channels.
- Design printed collateral including brochures, signage, large-format graphics, programmes, menus and promotional materials.
- Develop creative campaigns that drive ticket sales, hospitality bookings and commercial revenue.
- Produce matchday graphics including team announcements, score graphics, social content and stadium visuals.
- Support photography, video and motion graphics projects where required.
- Ensure all creative work reflects brand guidelines while continually evolving the visual identity of our brands.
- Prepare artwork for print and digital production to a consistently high standard.
- Work with external suppliers, printers and production partners to deliver finished projects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute ideas that enhance campaigns and improve audience engagement.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity across both print and digital media.

Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Experience creating artwork for both digital and print production.

Strong typography, layout and branding skills.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

High level of attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable

Experience with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro or motion graphics.

Photography or videography experience.

Knowledge of Figma or other digital design tools.

Experience within sport, hospitality, events or leisure marketing.

Understanding of social media content trends and best practice.

Experience designing email marketing and website assets.

Basic animation and video editing skills.
