RG Consultancy are recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing £15m turnover business seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join their finance team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the finance function whilst overseeing a team of three transactional accounting staff.

Manage and support a team of three transactional finance staff.

Oversee the sales ledger, purchase ledger and cash management processes.

Ensure accurate and timely month-end procedures.
-
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.

Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls.

Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
-
Review and improve finance processes and procedures.
-
Provide financial information and analysis to support business decision-making.

Deputise for the Financial Controller when required.

Previous experience in an Accounts Manager, Finance Manager or Senior Accountant position.

Strong knowledge of transactional finance and month-end accounting processes.

Experience managing or supervising finance staff.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

AAT qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience candidates will all be considered.
