Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Plasterer/Multi Trader to join our dynamic construction team. This role involves executing a wide range of building, finishing, and maintenance tasks across various sites. The ideal candidate will bring energy, expertise, and a proactive attitude to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and efficient project completion. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional results in plastering, carpentry, masonry and general construction duties. Duties
- Perform plastering tasks with precision to achieve smooth finishes on interior and exterior surfaces.
- Carry out carpentry work including framing, door hanging, window repairs, and general woodwork.
- Conduct masonry activities such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing.
- Install and repair roofing systems using appropriate materials and techniques.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to fabricate components and carry out construction tasks efficiently.
- Read schematics and technical drawings to accurately execute projects according to specifications.
- Perform construction painting to enhance finishes and protect surfaces from environmental damage.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety standards at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plastering, carpentry, masonry, roofing, or related construction trades.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, schematics.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Experience working with construction painting and masonry materials is highly desirable.
- Skilled in working with various construction materials including wood, concrete, and plaster products.
- Knowledge of safety procedures on construction sites to ensure a secure working environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding manual tasks over extended periods; ability to work at heights or in confined spaces if required.
