Zaya is a new Levantine restaurant opening on North End Road — inspired by the best of Lebanese cooking, built for people who take pride in doing things properly. We're looking for a Kitchen Assistant who can turn their hand to anything: keeping the kitchen spotless one minute, prepping mezze the next.
What you'll do:
- Keep the kitchen, pots, and equipment spotless and service-ready
- Prep mezze, marinades, and sauces to spec, every day
- Support chefs with stock rotation, deliveries, and storage
- Learn the detail behind Levantine cooking — from labneh to arak-cured dishes
- Keep your section organised and take pride in the small stuff
What we're looking for:
- Someone reliable, hard-working, and quick on their feet
- Some prep experience in a professional kitchen is a big plus
- Comfortable with evenings and weekends
- Genuine interest in food and hospitality matters more than a perfect CV
Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
