Guitar tutor required for our Music Academy in Bury, Greater Manchester.
Applicants should have a good level of practical ability along with a sound knowledge of theory.
The ability to communicate with a variety of age groups is essential.
The individual must have the ability to make lessons fun and enjoyable to all students and must have a true passion for what they are doing.
age groups start at 6 and go to 70, all lessons are one on one.
The position is mainly part-time (mainly weekday mid afternoons and evenings with the potential to work Saturdays should the tutor want to) but should grow depending on the candidates commitment. Teachers work on a self employed basis earning £10.00 per 30 minute lesson. The lessons can build into a full calendar very quickly.
there are currently immediate lessons ready and waiting for the tutor upon starting plus easy potential to build on.
this could be an instant position should the applicant be experienced in playing / teaching.
previous experience is vital whether it be self employed of via previous music schools.
