Construction Joints is a small construction company with over 40 years’ experience. As a long established business we are looking for motivated individuals with an interest in pursuing a career within the construction industry for sites predominantly in the eastern side of Northern Ireland with occasional opportunities for work staying away from home. If you have industry relevant experience with working outside such as farming or horticulture we would love to hear from you.
Main Duties
Semi-Skilled Operatives required to carry out general construction operations including reinforced concrete works, joint sealing with sealants, concrete repairs, shuttering & floor coatings.
Additional on-the-job training will be given in-house as well as external training where required.
Company Van Supplied to the right applicant.
As a first step an interview by telephone will be conducted prior to a face-to-face interview.
Essential
CSR Card Holder
Clean, Valid Driver’s licence
Desirable Criteria
Previous work experience in a similar role. Knowledge of general construction operations and use of small plant and tools. Have a willingness to work outside. Strong understanding of Health and Safety matters. Excellent attendance and time keeping. Manual handling experience.
Hours of Work
7:30 am to 4:00 pm (Friday finish 3:00 pm)
Paid overtime when required - plenty of opportunities
Flexible approach to working hours is necessary
