Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Multi Trader to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. Own van and tools required. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a variety of trades across different projects, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Carry out carpentry tasks including framing, fitting, and finishing work.
- Perform roofing repairs and installations, ensuring weatherproofing standards are met.
- Undertake construction painting, preparing surfaces and applying finishes as required.
- Execute plumbing tasks such as pipe installation, repairs, and maintenance.
- Conduct masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing.
- Operate welding equipment for fabrication and repair purposes.
- Handle electrical tasks within scope of competence, including wiring and fixture installation.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Fabricate components or structures as needed for various projects.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to construction and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to undertake fabrication work with appropriate skills and safety awareness.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
- Flexibility to adapt to different project requirements and work environments.
- Valid relevant certifications or licences are preferred but not mandatory depending on experience level.
- A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
