Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the nursery premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring environments are tidy, safe, and welcoming. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, hoovering, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise Play rooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to high standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is in good working order
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning routines
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks when required, including deep cleans
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills to coordinate tasks efficiently and report issues promptly
