About the Role
Are you a caring, reliable, and experienced Support Worker looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference every day?
We are seeking confident and compassionate individuals to join our team in Chester. You will support people with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that may challenge. This is a hands-on role where you will deliver person-centred support that helps individuals feel safe, respected, and included — encouraging them to live as independently as possible.
You will be part of a supportive team that values patience, consistency, dignity, and achieving positive outcomes for the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
Support individuals with daily living tasks, personal care, routines, and health needs
Follow person-centred care plans and positive behaviour support strategies
Help people build confidence, develop independence, and take part in activities they enjoy
Respond calmly and safely to behaviours that challenge, using agreed support approaches
Work closely with colleagues, families, health professionals, and social care teams
Maintain accurate records and report any concerns in line with safeguarding procedures
Requirements
NVQ / QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Training in positive behaviour support, safeguarding, or manual handling is desirable
Previous experience supporting people with autism, learning disabilities, or mental health conditions
Valid UK driving licence
