Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organised Assistant Lettings Manager to support our property management team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with the day-to-day operations of the lettings department, ensuring smooth communication between clients, tenants, and internal teams. This position is office and road based and offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong administrative and customer engagement skills.
Duties
- Managing property rental valuation and marketing requirements for investors.
- Off-site visits to properties within the company’s catchment area.
- Obtaining required documentation and certificates for marketing.
- Taking pictures, measurements and comprehensive details to support advertising and property management.
- Advising on property condition and any required maintenance where necessary.
- Engaging with investors in understanding market conditions and best practices.
- Assist in overseeing and coordinating general and inspection maintenance.
- Oversee property portfolio growth.
- Meet with and build relationships with local developers.
- Demonstrate company standards and objectives.
- Support with day-to-day team and branch management.
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- Administrative tasks such as updating databases, filing, and correspondence.
- Respond promptly to tenant and client enquiries via phone, email, or in person.
- Maintain organised records of all lettings activities and client interactions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience
- Previous administrative experience, preferably within property management or lettings.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, tenants, and team members.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to build rapport with both internal and external customers.
- Familiarity with property management software is advantageous but not essential.

Additional Information
- Full valid driver's license and car inclusive of business use insurance
- Hours are 09:00 to 17:30 Monday to Friday and one Saturday in 3 with a day off in lieu.

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
