Overview
Little Elephant is looking for a new site technician / site team leader DOE to join our business. This is a construction-based role, although we work in delivering the mobile phone infrastructure. Basically we deliver 5G telecom sites throughout the country.
This includes but is not limited to the following: - Flat roof works, concrete, structural steelwork, handrail, walkways, safe to climb systems, cable management, Lightning protection, core drilling, fire protection, glands, groundworks, fencing, access tracks, tower climbing and much more. We do not expect an individual to have all of the above, however some understanding of some of the skills is important.
Responsibilities / Requirements
In order to fulfill the role a successful candidate MUST have a full driving license with no more than 3 points.
Must be able to work nationally, staying away on a regular basis with working away allowance paid. Weekend working in addition is available if interested.
Some sites have requirements for felt roofing therefore good knowledge of felt roofing would ideally be required.
The candidate will need to be able to demonstrate that they have worked and managed/delivered small works projects. You must be able to read and understand drawings. Ideally have a trade background although not a necessity. You must understand Health and Safety / CDM.
Be able to demonstrate that you have been in the construction / telecoms industry for a number of years and hold certain training. Bespoke telecoms train will be provided by the company.
