Senior Concierge
Location: New Islington, Manchester
Hours: 8:00am – 8:00pm, 4 days on / 4 days off
Role Type: Full-time, site-based
We are looking for an experienced Senior Concierge to manage the day-to-day operation of a high-end residential development in Manchester.
This is a hands-on role responsible for delivering an excellent resident experience while ensuring the building, onsite teams and routine operations are managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the development.
- Lead the Concierge and Cleaning teams, including rotas, holidays, sickness and cover.
- Liaise regularly with the Management Company Directors and Managing Agents, providing updates and escalating operational, maintenance, compliance and resident matters where appropriate.
- Implement and maintain SOP files, processes and onsite operating procedures.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and building presentation.
- Deal with resident enquiries, complaints and general requests.
- Oversee parcel and delivery management.
- Coordinate maintenance reporting and follow issues through to completion.
- Liaise with contractors and manage access to the building.
- Carry out routine building and compliance checks alongside the health and safety of staff and residents.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, compliance and contractor visits.
- Manage waste collection schedules and the day-to-day operation and presentation of bin stores.
- Ensure the appropriate rotation and presentation of bins for scheduled collections, returning bins to the correct locations following collection.
- Monitor waste and recycling areas and report or resolve issues including missed collections, contamination, excess waste and bulky items.
- Ensure communal areas are safe, clean and well presented.
- Take ownership of day-to-day operational issues and escalate matters to the Managing Agents where required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in concierge, facilities, security or property management.
- Confident managing and motivating onsite teams.
- Professional, approachable and customer focused.
- Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities.
- Comfortable dealing with maintenance, contractors and compliance requirements.
- Confident communicating with residents, Managing Agents and Management Company Directors.
- Proactive and able to take ownership of issues through to resolution.
- A strong communicator with good administrative and IT skills.
- Comfortable undertaking hands-on operational duties as part of the day-to-day management of the development.
Experience within a high-end residential development, Build to Rent scheme, hotel or similar customer-focused environment would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will take pride in the operation and presentation of the development and play a key role in ensuring residents receive a consistently high standard of service.
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 48.0 per week
