Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable HGV Class 1 driver to join our night team.
6pm to 6am Monday to Friday (Finishing at 6am Saturday morning)
**Paid breaks!**
Attendance bonus upon completion of 6 month probation period.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with road safety regulations and company policies
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly
- Load and unload goods at designated locations, ensuring accuracy and care
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery status or any delays
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Valid driving licence suitable for operating heavy goods vehicles (HGV) or lorry licences as required
- Demonstrable knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving
- Experience with delivery routes and logistics planning
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road
