Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry team and oversee the creation of exquisite desserts and baked goods. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of food production, including preparation, baking, decorating, and presentation.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and visual appeal of all pastry items served.
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently during service hours to meet customer expectations.
- Keep abreast of current trends in pastry arts and incorporate innovative ideas into menu development.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food production, food preparation, cooking, and baking within a professional kitchen environment.
- Proven culinary experience with a strong focus on patisserie and dessert creation.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen setting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
- Leadership qualities with experience in supervising kitchen staff and fostering a positive team environment.

- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management.

Pay: Up to £45,000.00 per year
