Labourer / General Construction Worker – Moreton-in-Marsh
We’re looking for a reliable labourer / general construction worker to join a small team renovating our Grade II listed Cotswold cottage in Moreton-in-Marsh.
You’ll be working alongside two experienced builders on a varied, hands-on renovation project. We’re looking for someone practical, hardworking and happy to get stuck into whatever needs doing.
The work will include:
- General labouring and assisting the builders
- Moving and preparing materials
- Demolition and strip-out work
- Mixing, digging and site preparation
- Helping with stonework, roofing, carpentry and other general building tasks where appropriate
- General support across the renovation
Previous construction/site experience would be ideal. Experience working with older, listed or traditional buildings would be a bonus, but isn't essential.

- Comfortable with physical work
- Able to work well as part of a very small team
- Some building/construction experience
- Own transport to Moreton-in-Marsh preferred
- Own insurance
Location: Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire
Start: Available immediately / ASAP
Hours: [Full-time / 5 days per week]
Rate: £19 per hour
Duration: Ongoing work available for the right person
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys proper, varied renovation work rather than being on a large new-build site, with the chance to work alongside and learn from experienced foreman.
