Wheels Department – O/E Telesales Executive
Kirkby Tyes is an award winning business with over sixty years experience of tyre import, wholesale and distribution. Our recently expanded headquarters in Liverpool, spans over 500,000square feet of covered warehousing, supported by additional facilities in Dublin, Ireland. We offer a comprehensive range of tyres and wheels, serving the tyre trade, original equipment manufacturers and export customers worldwide.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Liverpool office based in Speke and we are looking to recruit & train a dynamic Trainee Sales Support Executive within our wheels department. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving business, with ample scope for personal and professional development. The role entails full support for career growth and succession planning through mentorship, regular feedback, and training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Telesales: Inbound and outbound calls from and to prospective and existing customers to promote products, explain features and benefits, to secure sales.
· Ensuring all customer queries are followed through from enquiry to response within a reasonable time frame.
- Prepare detailed quotations- Following up on quotes to build long term relationships and encourage repeat business. Maintain and manage quote statuses.
- Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of Kirkby Tyres products to effectively answer customer queries.
- Market Feedback: Gather and report customer feedback and market insights to help refine sales strategies and product offerings.
· Performance of general administration duties - Sales order/invoicing/purchase order processing. Data entry of Export/Import formalities.
· Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by addressing complaints, enquiries, or concerns promptly.
· Work closely with internal sales team, warehouse, transport and field sales staff to maximise sales
· Collaborate closely with external transport and logistics providers to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
· Adhering and working towards KPI targets set by management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in telesales, telemarketing, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of sales techniques with experience in sales and customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade customers.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

Proficient in Microsoft Software including Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience in ERP Software (preferably SAP)
The successful candidate will be subject to a monthly bonus scheme after 5 months training.
Pay: From £27,500.00 per year
