Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team our pharmacy in Wilton. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained. You will assist in handing out patients completed medication, provide healthcare advise, sell over the counter medication to patients and the general public, and contribute to a positive environment for both patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Handing out patients medication and selling medicines and other retail products
- Provide healthcare advise to patients ( Training will be provided)
- Assist the Pharmacist during medicines dispensing and welcoming patients who would like to speak to the pharmacist.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a healthcare not essential; training will be provided.
- A compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Flexibility in working hours, depending on need.
