The Opportunity
Trafertir Group is expanding its Sea Freight and Ocean Freight capability and is looking for an experienced Ocean Freight professional to help build and lead this function.
This is a genuine opportunity to shape a department from a strong base, working directly with the Managing Director.
What You Will Do
- Develop and lead Ocean and Sea Freight services (FCL and LCL)
- Build and manage relationships with:
- Shipping lines
- NVOCCs
- Overseas agents
- Own ocean freight operations end to end
- Support commercial growth with strong delivery
- Implement scalable, compliant processes
- Act as the senior point of contact for ocean freight activity
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in Ocean or Sea Freight management
- Strong understanding of FCL, LCL, and international trade
- Commercial awareness with operational strength
- Comfortable building relationships across carriers and agents
Previous experience required
- Working with global freight networks such as WCA, X2 or JC Trans
- Building and managing overseas agent networks

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
