£50,000 – £60,000 + Performance Bonus

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm
1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am–12:00pm
We are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a busy commercial vehicle operation in the Portsmouth area.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with strong HGV technical knowledge and commercial workshop experience looking to take the next step in their career.
The Role
- Coordinate the day-to-day running of the workshop
- Allocate jobs and manage workshop resources
- Lead and support workshop staff
- Monitor productivity, quality and performance
- Work towards KPIs, budgets and targets
- Liaise with Service, Parts and Management teams
- Maintain high standards of safety and customer service
About You
- Previous commercial workshop management/control experience
- Strong HGV technical knowledge essential
- Automotive industry experience essential
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Experience working with KPIs and targets
- Proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
