Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organised Full Time Receptionist (Mon - Fri 0800hrs - 1700hrs) to join our team in Cambridge CB1. This role is ideal for individuals with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail, who enjoy providing exceptional customer service. Working in a friendly and proactive manner, you will manage the standard processes of 'front of house': post, couriers, contractors, general visitors, and the associated access and signing-in procedures.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the building management team with administrative tasks, managing contractors and maintenance teams and building positive relationships with all tenants, visitors and stakeholders.
We will also be looking for a person who will proactively engage with stakeholders to organise ‘one off’ events in the reception area.
Responsibilities
- Greet all visitors to the building, in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring a warm welcome
- Efficiently managing couriers, post and deliveries.
- Manage incoming enquiries via email and telephone, directing them appropriately
- Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Assist with administrative tasks for tenants within the building
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times
- Submit weekly reports on site activity (as required).
Experience required:
- Experience of working in a front of house reception role with excellentcustomer-focused service delivery.
- Excellent communication skills - written and oral, with good attention to detail
- PC literate/ability to learn relevant software packages/social media competent.
- Knowledge of building/FM knowledge would be advantageous
