SC Corporate Investments is seeking a high-performing Senior Cloud Engineer in London to architect, secure, and optimize our enterprise cloud infrastructure. Working at the intersection of financial technology and cloud architecture, you will lead cloud migration initiatives, enforce security governance, and build resilient, automated cloud environments supporting our investment management platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Architecture & Automation: Design, deploy, and manage secure enterprise cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Security & Financial Compliance: Implement Zero Trust security controls, identity access management (IAM), and automated encryption frameworks compliant with FCA guidelines, ISO 27001, and UK GDPR.
- Migration & Modernization: Lead complex cloud migration strategies, transitioning legacy workloads into scalable, containerized, microservice-based cloud architectures.
- Cost Optimization & Performance: Monitor cloud resource utilization (FinOps), establish automated scaling policies, and optimize cloud expenditures across multi-tenant environments.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Cloud Architect, or Systems Engineer in financial services or regulated corporate environments.
- Deep technical expertise in AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystems.
- Advanced proficiency in Terraform, automated CI/CD pipelines, and container management (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of cloud security, network architecture (VPCs, VNets, Firewalls), and financial compliance standards.
- Desirable: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
