We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de partie to join our vibrant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Chef de partie, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and food preparation, ensuring that each dish meets our high standards of excellence. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a culinary role or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation.
- A passion for cooking and creativity in food presentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
