We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our hospitality team working as front of house - hotel reception, bar and restaurant.
This role, varying week by week, will see the successful candidate working varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
We are looking for a friendly, confident and hardworking Front of House staff to join our team. This is a varied role in a busy hotel environment, perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and doesn’t mind switching between reception, bar and restaurant duties.
You will be the face of the business, ensuring every guest receives excellent customer service from check-in to check-out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming guests and providing a warm, professional first impression
- Checking guests in and out of the hotel using the booking system
- Handling guest enquiries and resolving issues quickly and politely
- Taking food and drink orders and providing table service
- Preparing and serving drinks at the bar (including cocktails if trained)
- Processing payments and operating the till
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of reception, bar and dining areas
- Supporting the team with general hotel duties as required
- Following health & safety and hygiene procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly and confident personality with strong customer service skills
- Previous experience in hospitality (hotel, bar, restaurant or reception) is preferred
- Good communication and people skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Reliable, punctual and well-presented
- Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays when required
- A flexible team player who can adapt to different tasks throughout the shift
A strong understanding and capability to speak English is essential for this position due to the high volume of English speaking guests who stay within our property.

Experience in the hotel industry and waitressing is an advantage to this position.
Applicants who have an existing food hygiene certificate will be prioritised for this position but again not essential as full training can be provided to the successful applicant.
It would be advantageous for applicants to have a full UK Driving license, should the opportunity arise to assist at other properties within the group.
Successful applicant will be paid equivalent or higher than the national minimum wage for their age.
