Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across our commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial services and a keen eye for detail, ensuring environments are hygienic, safe, and welcoming for clients and staff alike. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and used correctly.
- Follow specified cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are covered efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities to management promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational skills and reliability.
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning activities is advantageous. Pay: £12.71-£17.73 per hour
