We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers for a new client based in Coalville. This is an excellent opportunity to join us on an ad hoc basis initially, with the potential for regular ongoing work in the near future as the contract develops.
The role involves driving palletised curtain-side vehicles, delivering a professional service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Shift Times
Day Shifts
- Start times between 05:00 - 08:00
Night Shifts
- Start times between 18:00 and 20:00
Pay Rates
Standard Pay
- Monday to Friday (Days): £17.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday (Nights): £18.00 per hour
- Saturday: £19.00 per hour
- Sunday: £20.00 per hour
Rolled-Up Holiday Pay
- Monday to Friday (Days): £19.05 per hour
- Monday to Friday (Nights): £20.17 per hour
- Saturday: £21.29 per hour
- Sunday: £22.41 per hour
The Role
- Driving Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicles
- Operating palletised curtain-side trailers
- Completing deliveries safely, efficiently, and on time
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Complying with all transport legislation and company procedures
- Providing a professional and reliable service
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year on CPC Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service
