Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior site manager required for a city residential development, duties & responsibilities will be reporting into a Project Manager, you will lead and manage all aspects of the project, including planning the daily & weekly activities as scheduled and resource allocation & calls off, in addition to progress reporting, liaising with statutory bodies like Building control and coordinating with the various stakeholders, sub-contractors and design consultants.
You will need to have proven experience of successfully delivering new build residential schemes as the lead Site Manager.
- Site Leadership: Lead and manage all on-site personnel, including subcontractors and internal staff.
- Quality Control: Maintain rigorous quality standards consistent with high-specification residential and commercial builds.
- Program Management: Drive the project schedule, identifying potential risks and implementing solutions to keep the build on track.
- Safety Excellence: Uphold a "safety first" culture, ensuring full compliance with HSE regulations and internal policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and Design Teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be a proactive problem-solver with a background in high-value new build projects.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – Valid and current.
- First Aid at Work (3-day certificate).
- CSCS Black Card (Managerial).
- Proven experience managing large-scale New Build projects high rise residential experience is highly desirable).
- Strong technical knowledge of modern construction methods and energy-efficient building standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage diverse subcontract packages.
- Full UK Driving License (Travel across the North West is required)

Pay: £57,000.00-£65,488.00 per year
