Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answer incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, directing calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Manage the reception area, keeping it tidy and presentable at all times.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Assist with clerical duties such as photocopying and scanning documents.
- Schedule appointments for patients and be the first point of contact to assist patients with their queries.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Support administrative staff with various tasks as required.
- Support the clinical team with requests when needed.
Skills
- Previous experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent phone etiquette with strong verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Typing proficiency with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
- Ability to adapt to any situation.
- Strong communication skills.
Pay: From £12.85 per hour
