The Role
You’ll be collecting palletised freight from customers before completing trunking runs into our hub in Lichfield – structured, straightforward work with a clear routine.
- Start time typically 14:00 (flexibility required)
- Occasional earlier starts depending on operations
- Covering the opposite shift during holidays/absence (working 5 days)
- Flexibility expected (it is Transport after all!)
What We Need From You
- Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Driver CPC
- Minimum 1 year experience preferred
- Reliable, professional, and team-focused
- Willing to be flexible when needed (shift cover & overtime)
Your Day-to-Day
- Vehicle checks & defect reporting
- Safe and secure loading
- Efficient trunking runs
- Using handheld devices
- Professional interaction with customers
- Following Drivers’ Hours & safety regulations
Pay
- £15.05 per hour (30 hour guaranteed minimum)
- £15.25 per hour (overtime)
- Saturday (optional): £125 minimum / £16.20 after 8 hours
- Sunday/Bank Holiday (optional): £150 minimum / £18.65 after 8 hours
- Quarterly bonus: £200
- Annual pay review
