Retail Assistant – Wedding Hire & Sales
Part-Time | Thursdays, Fridays (10am til 4pm & every Saturday (9 - 5pm). Flexibility a must on other days to cover holidays).
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Retail Assistant to join our wedding hire and sales team with at least 5 years retail experience.
This is a customer-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and has an interest in weddings, fashion, events or styling.
The Role
You will be helping customers choose and hire or purchase items for their special day, providing excellent customer service and ensuring every couple has a positive experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and assisting customers in the showroom
- Helping couples select wedding hire and sale items
- Providing friendly, professional advice and excellent customer service
- Preparing, organising and checking hire items
- Processing sales and hire bookings
- Keeping the showroom clean, tidy and well presented
- Assisting with stock management and general retail duties
- Helping customers with collections and returnsAbout You
We are looking for someone who is:

- Reliable, organised and punctual
- Well presented and professional
- Comfortable working in a busy retail environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Interested in weddings, events, styling or retail
- Previous retail or customer service experience a necessity.Hours: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays
