Quality Assurance Manager
Overview
Bridgeway is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to provide oversight of our crisis intervention and emergency support packages for children and young people with complex needs.
The role will involve working closely with Service Delivery Consultants, support workers, social workers and local authorities to ensure placements are safe, well-managed and achieving positive outcomes for the young people we support.
The successful candidate will have experience working with children and young people who present with complex behaviours, emotional and behavioural difficulties autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, trauma and placement instability.
Main Responsibilities
Carry out quality assurance visits across active placements.
Review daily records, incidents, safeguarding concerns and support plans.
Ensure support is being delivered safely and in line with agreed outcomes.
Provide oversight and guidance to operational teams supporting young people.
Attend risk matrix meetings and placement reviews with local authorities.
Support safeguarding investigations and incident reviews where required.
Monitor placement stability and identify areas of concern.
Produce quality assurance reports following placement visits.
Work alongside compliance teams to ensure company standards are maintained.
Support service development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Build positive relationships with local authorities, social workers and professionals involved in the young person's care.
Essential Experience
Experience working with children and young people with complex needs.
Strong safeguarding knowledge and understanding of risk management.
Experience supporting young people with behaviours that challenge.
Experience reviewing incidents, risk assessments and support plans.
Good report writing and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and professionally
Desirable
Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.
Previous experience as a Quality Assurance Manager, Deputy Manager, Registered Manager or Service Manager within CQC or Ofsted settings
Experience within crisis intervention, residential care, supported accommodation or specialist support services.
