We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and reputable garage in Andover, for the position of vehicle tyre fitter. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled and experienced tyre fitter seeking a stable, rewarding role within a friendly, local business renowned for over 60 years of service.
The vehicle tyre fitter will be responsible for delivering high-quality tyre fitting services, including puncture repairs, on a daily basis. They will work closely with a supportive team, under the supervision of the Workshop Manager, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient workshop operations.

Duties:
- Conduct all vehicle tyre fitting procedures, including puncture repairs
- Control stock levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and services to clients
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance where required
- Interact professionally with colleagues and customers at all times
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within designated timeframes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a tyre fitter, with at least 1-2 years of relevant employment or apprenticeship background
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused manner
- Reliable and committed to producing high-quality workmanship
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Knowledge of ADAS wheel alignment and tracking is highly advantageous
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
