This is a predominantly FLT - based role, with articulated forklift driving as your primary responsibility, supported by general warehouse duties. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate an articulated forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Use a counterbalance forklift when required
- Accurately move, handle, and store stock within the warehouse
- Load and unload deliveries using FLT
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and organising goods
- Prepare orders for courier collection
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised warehouse environment
- Participate in regular stock takes
- Adhere to all health & safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Articulated forklift licence – preferred
- Counterbalance forklift experience – minimum requirement
- At least 2 years’ experience operating forklift trucks
- Previous warehouse or distribution centre experience
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good level of English and basic maths skills
- Confident using warehouse systems and computers
- Positive, proactive, and forward-thinking attitude
Location & Working Hours:
This is a full-time, warehouse-based role at our Scunthorpe Distribution Centre, located on Foxhills Industrial Estate, Scunthorpe, DN15 8QW.
Shift A:
- Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00 (60-minute break)
- Saturday & Sunday: Off
As this is a varied warehouse role, responsibilities may differ between shifts. We're looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable, and happy to support the wider warehouse operation when required.
