Location: Letchworth, Hertfordshire (with flexibility to travel locally in line with the needs of the People We Support)
Hours: Full Time | 40 hours per week, including shifts, weekends, bank holidays, wake nights and sleep-ins as required
Annual Leave: 28 days including Bank Holidays, plus your birthday off

What you'll do:
This role combines practical support with relationship-building, helping the People We Support to live as independently as possible while achieving positive outcomes. You will:
- Provide safe, compassionate and person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
- Support people with daily living activities, personal care, medication and health appointments where required.
- Encourage independence, choice and decision-making in accordance with the Mental Capacity Act.
- Support individuals to access social, leisure, education and employment opportunities within their communities.
- Help people manage aspects of daily life including finances, correspondence and household responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to support planning and reviews.
- Build positive relationships with colleagues, families, professionals and wider support networks.
- Promote safeguarding, health and safety, and the wellbeing of the People We Support at all times.
What we're looking for:
- Experience supporting others emotionally and practically, within health and social care.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively.
- A compassionate, patient and person-centred approach.
- Confidence using IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
- A flexible and adaptable attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
- Willingness to complete a Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care if not already achieved.
- A driving license and previous experience supporting people with additional needs would be advantageous.
