WORKSHOP ASSISTANT
We are looking for someone to join our team in a junior role to learn our trade and support the team.
You will need to be practical, want to work in a hands on role, and you should be physically fit, reliable and motivated.
You will be responsible for making all the stock parts and will become responsible for the stock controlling of these.
You will learn to use the saws to be able to help cut timber to size and control the waste wood and dust.
You will help keep the workshop tidy and organised. Help load and unload the vehicles. Ensure Health and Safety is followed.
You will also go out with the team to help install the finished product.
As you become more experienced within the role you will be given training on all the workshop machinery so you can start to make products and grow within the team.
Pay will start at NMW for your age and increase with your experience.
Normal working hours are 8am to 5pm at our Bedford Workshop.
Days out of the workshop are planned in advance.

The work will be based from our Bedford factory between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday, planned installation of the units will involve travel and occasionally night/s away .
The wage is dependant on experience, please provide a CV and covering letter that states your salary requirement.

We would be willing to allow day release if you are currently at college.
