Permanent Contract (subject to a 6 month probationary period)
Full Time 37 hours per week (Mon - Thurs 7.00am - 3.00pm, Fri - 7.00 - 2.30pm (includes 30 mins lunch UNPAID)
Term Time only + 3-5 Inset days as required for which additional payment will be made.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, professional and approachable Catering Manager to lead our catering team and oversee the delivery of a high-quality food service within our school.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience working within a school environment or a busy catering/food service setting. You will be passionate about providing excellent food and customer service, whilst effectively managing daily operations and supporting your team to achieve the highest standards.
At the heart of this role is the opportunity to make a real difference. We are looking for someone with fresh ideas, strong organisational skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
You will play a key role in developing and enhancing our catering provision, ensuring it meets the needs of our pupils, staff and wider school community.

Standard term time only pay is calculated on the basis of the following:
- Number of teaching weeks - 38 weeks; plus
- Public (bank) holidays - 1.6 weeks (8 days); plus
- Individual leave entitlement - 5.4 weeks (27 days) or 6.4 weeks (32 days)
Individual leave entitlement is calculated on the length of continuous service. Employees with less than 5 years service will receive 27 days annual leave. Employees with more than 5 years service will receive 32 days annual leave. For example:
Calculation for employees with less than 5 years service:
38 weeks (term time) + 27 days (annual leave) + 8 days (public holidays) = 45 weeks pay, to be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments
Calculation for employees with more than 5 years service:
38 weeks (term time) + 32 days (annual leave) + 8 days (public holidays) = 46 weeks pay, to be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments
